I brew beer and write libertarian children's books, but let's focus on the beer for now. Since brewing my first 5 gallons in 2002 I found myself intoxicated with the power and beauty of invoking beer from stuff that is not beer. I am a BJCP Certified beer judge and have won some awards for my creations including Best of Show at the Minnesota State Fair Homebrew competition. I have given lectures on brewing at such esteemed establishments as the Minnesota Renaissance Festival, and continue to advocate for beer and brewing on a regular basis, primarily by consuming large quantities of beer.
